Business strategy

ANZ aim to become a super regional bank. This involves growing their presence in the Asia Pacific region to around 20% of earnings by 2012, while also being very focused on the existing business and opportunities across Australia and New Zealand.

ANZ in Singapore

ANZ opened a representative office in Singapore in 1974. It was later converted to offshore bank status in 1980 and further upgraded to a wholesale bank in 2002.

ANZ Singapore is one of two designated ANZ regional hubs in Asia which can provide integrated solutions across institutional and corporate banking, financial markets, trade finance, corporate finance, retail banking, private banking and investment banking services.
